Test Day Logistics & Checklist

Before Test Day

  • Confirm your booking: Check the date, time, and test centre address. Visit the centre beforehand if possible to plan your route
  • Prepare your ID: You need valid, government-issued photo identification (passport or driver’s licence). Check that your name on the ID matches your registration exactly
  • Plan your journey: Arrive at least 30 minutes early. Account for traffic, public transport delays, and parking
  • Night before: Get 7–8 hours of sleep. Avoid cramming. Lay out your ID and plan your outfit (wear layers — test centres can be cold or warm)

At the Test Centre

  • You will be checked in and your ID verified
  • Personal items (phone, watch, wallet, bag) must be stored in a locker
  • You cannot bring food, drink, or notes into the testing room
  • You will be given a laminated noteboard and marker for rough work
  • The test begins immediately once you are seated — use the 1-minute instruction time for each subtest to take a breath and focus

Test Day Mindset

  1. Accept imperfection: You will not answer every question correctly. No one does. Aim for your personal best, not perfection
  2. Don’t dwell: After each subtest ends, mentally close it. Do not worry about questions you found hard — focus entirely on the next subtest
  3. Trust your preparation: If you have worked through this course systematically, you are well-prepared. Trust the strategies you’ve practised
  4. Stay calm: If you feel anxious, take 3 slow, deep breaths. Anxiety is normal and manageable
